Absolutely freezing cold in there tonight. Sat in coat then left as too cold to stay. Also a rubbish selection of canned beers compared to other sounds.

Even better value for money after 2pm. Recommend the small fish with mushy peas at £6,50 ish including soft drink. Tell the bar person to hold off the ice if having cola. Unless you want it heavily diluted.

The best spoons I’ve been to out of the many I have visited across the country. This was the only spoons I’ve comfortable in. Most of the time when you walk into a Wetherspoons, wherever you are the toilets are filthy, tables are sticky, the cutlery is unclean and so are the glasses, but here everything was spotless. The food was a lot nicer (for unknown reasons considering it’s all the same 🤣) and came out in less than 10 mins - even on Valentine’s Day and Saturday morning. the staff were also very attentive, which is also something you don’t usually get. I’m weird with touching things and germs but here i didn’t even need to second guess it. And the toilets were so clean and tidy even on a Saturday night. The rest of the sites across the country need to take notice especially ones in north west!!!
